SUMMER PROMO — LIMITED SPOTS!

This isn’t your typical weekly therapy session.

It’s a focused, fast-track approach designed to help your teen:

  • Feel more in control of their thoughts and emotions

  • Quiet the overthinking and constant self-doubt

  • Learn practical coping skills they’ll actually use

—does this sound familiar?

The college transition is exciting.
So why does your teen seem terrified?

For many teens, the summer before college isn't a celebration — it's a slow build of dread, self-doubt, and overthinking they can't turn off.

Anxiety about leaving home

Separation, new routines, losing their support system — the fear of losing what feels familiar can feel paralyzing, even for teens who seem confident on the outside.

Crippling self-doubt

"What if I'm not smart enough? What if everyone else figures it out and I don't?" The imposter syndrome has already moved in — and college hasn't started yet.

Constant "what if I fail" thinking

They're spiraling about roommates, grades, fitting in — lying awake running through every worst-case scenario before they've even packed a box.

People-pleasing and perfectionism on overdrive

They've been holding it together through high school. But college feels like the stakes just got higher — and they don't know if they can keep performing at that level.

— WHAT THEY WALK AWAY WITH

One intensive. Lasting tools
for everything college throws at them.

✔A regulated, calm nervous system
Real grounding and calming strategies — not just deep breaths — that work when anxiety spikes at 2am in a new dorm room.

✔Confidence that isn't performance-based
Real confidence rooted in tools and self-knowledge — not grades, approval, or achievements that could disappear at any moment.

✔Practical coping skills they'll actually use
A take-home college coping toolkit built around their specific triggers — designed to work in the real situations college brings.

✔Emotional readiness for the transition
They arrive at college not just prepared academically — but emotionally equipped to handle homesickness, social pressure, and the unexpected.

FAQs

  • Therapy Intensives are more effectiveand efficient than normal 50-minute therapy sessions. Typically in a 50-minute session, there are at least 5-10 minutes of “check-in” at the start of the session and usually, 5-10 minutes spent on “closing up” or “checking out” at the end of a session - Leaving only 30-40 minutes for deep therapeutic work. Therapy Intensives are different.

A 2-hour Therapy Intensive allows for the full 2 hours of depth work. That’s the equivalent of at least five 50-minute sessions or more than a month of therapy - in a single day!

  • If your teen is struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or emotional regulation and needs more than traditional weekly therapy, an intensive can provide focused support and faster progress. During the initial consultation, we’ll determine if this is the best fit.

  • Every teen is different. Some see significant progress in just one session, while others benefit from multiple intensives. We’ll discuss your teen’s specific needs and create a plan that works best for them.

  • Absolutely! Therapy Intensives work very well as an adjunct therapy. I would ask that you sign a Release of Information so that your child’s current therapist and I can collaborate/coordinate to best serve you!

WHAT IS EMDR?

EMDR is a powerful, research-backed therapy that helps the brain process and release stuck emotions — especially around anxiety, stress, or past experiences.

EMDR helps teens feel more confident by targeting the root of their anxiety — not just the symptoms. It clears out the negative beliefs like “I’m not ready” or “I can’t handle this” and replaces them with healthier, more empowering thoughts. As their nervous system calms and those old thought patterns shift, they start to feel more capable, grounded, and ready to face challenges — which naturally boosts their confidence.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the 8 phases of EMDR —
and how each one helps your teen feel more in control.
